the sweet
the tang
down their throats
spreading
slithering
through their organs
coiling
in their brains
Lungs
rattling
the air
becoming fuller
The apple of their eyes
ripens red
Suddenly
the garden
is so small
the tree
is not enough
They lose
a false paradise
and gain
everything
