Heart Of Stone
Emotion flowing down
wearing thin
on my hardened rock
of heart
It was once growing
crystal bright
arrested in motion
frozen beautiful
and cold
Now
love burning
lava river
blazing waking
moving
in my chest
of stone
I move
I beat
slivers of slate
cracks
fissures
my heart of flesh
crumbles its mountain cover
Dancing on stone
to the beat of my blood
I love again
