Rogue Wave
They look so beautiful
at first
surging and swelling
pulling you
carried away
then you discover
their depth is less
than your shore
Your internals
are set
at different densities
and they are seismic
plunging
as they pull everything away
and are gone
They're referred to
as rare
yet there seems to be
as many rogues
as there are
fish in the sea
