Books Of Beauty
Quills and parchments evolve
papers and pens
Books of beauty all started with one stroke on one sheet
Wandering around this empty paper
peeking over the margins
pushing the borders
traversing every ruled line
I look for inspiration
subject
meaning
to come dripping out of my pen
landing artistically on the page
in an elegant combination of words
so that I might see myself
accomplished
talented
with more to give than just carbon dioxide
I want to be worthy of my own printing press
