Castlebuilder

Castlebuilder

I've a story to cast
magick to tell
a spell to share
and a ritual to weave

Words are my thread
Crystal gossamer sewn with inflection
and silver crescent hooks

The web I create is the tale
bouncing the moon's glow like diamond
resonating a song deeper than shadow

The circle goes round yet the path is always new
The ages of a tree and Arachne's home mate
ripple in the dark waters of my yarn

It's the dreamcatcher knitted into consciousness
scurrying along the trail of my narrative
bringing those who listen to quartz havens among the stars

Storytellers build castles in the sky
