What Lives In The Silence
In an eerie silence
under branches that strive in the worship of silver
forgotten tales come alive around me
and I walk with ancient myths
Hecate and her hounds are beside me
Poseidon swims through the blue midnight
the dark wind is Dionysus' laugh
and Hades rumbles the earth
as Pegasus' hooves spark on the ground
In an eerie silence
under branches that strive in the worship of silver
forgotten tales come alive around me
and I walk with ancient myths
Hecate and her hounds are beside me
Poseidon swims through the blue midnight
the dark wind is Dionysus' laugh
and Hades rumbles the earth
as Pegasus' hooves spark on the ground
The shadows reflect like obsidian fire
the faces of those unremembered
I try to speak their holy names
but I have lost the knowledge to reason
I can only beg forgiveness
as the trees bow down to the crescent moon
but I have lost the knowledge to reason
I can only beg forgiveness
as the trees bow down to the crescent moon
