I didn't murder anyone
I defended myself and they died
For once I was the calm before the storm

And I saw them
all facets of them
like I had diamond dust in my eyes
and every refraction of them
was clear
They thought to manifest a quake of tears
and instead manifested a monster
they begged to call master
before they ceased to be
