Autumn Daisies, Indole, & Oud

The land begins to pull up its shroud of daisies
covering the pungent decay
with a hint of flowers

Lulled into sleepy repose
with psychedelic dreams
for we animals that do not hibernate

Deep in this death
there is always a low scent
of musky happiness

The olfactory promise
that out of this dark compost
life will rise again

(lore; deities covered the graves of children to console those who mourned them)
(low concentration has a flowery smell, too much smells like feces, involved in serotonin - related to happiness - and melatonin - related to sleep, naturally occurring in some psychedelic drugs)
(pungent musky, animalistic)
