Bio Of A Moment

 Who would want to resist
as we spread ourselves
thigh to thigh
mouth to mouth

Because someone said it was wrong?

Someone was obviously never held
by you

Eternity
inside you

We Go Down

 You rise
a corporeal erection
in this humid dream
I scream in desire
I slash at everything between us
until we reach for one another
and begin to shake the earth
off its axis
Always a delight
to play
in our dungeon

Raven's Infinite Scream

 I clutch again
the life I thought I wanted
the world I wanted to create
overcompensating for the fear
with solitude
until I'm rotting in infinite ways
on the inside
and screaming like a dying raven
burning in the light of day

I Wait

 You make me wait
until I feel
cross-eyed on the inside
with the anticipation
of you
Dreaming of doing things
that would make an abomination blush
I watch time
until the real tantalizing torture can begin
when you turn the lock
of the bedroom door

You'll Only Hold Me Once

Did you think I was some
luscious flower
who would always bloom for you
to do with as you please

Pulling my petals off
he loves me not
tearing my leaves
yanking and crushing
until I rot back into
whatever's left of my roots
to grow again
so you can begin killing me again

I've grown back a flower

The flower of a cactus

Embrace me

Shir-O-Shakher

Smooth as milk
yet lumpy as sugar
Your texture changes with the weather
and you're woven at different tensions
Yet no matter how wrinkled
you are always light weight
Around you the air is breathable
I feel you'll never pull my frayed ends
and destroy me in unraveling
You're like a favorite seersucker suit
I want to wear
until forever ends

Magnetic Poetry pull: Destroy, Feel, Suit, Sucker, Until.
Googled seersucker suit ~ "The name of a seersucker suit comes from the Persian phrase "shir-o-shakher" which means "milk and sugar".  The name refers to the fabric's alternating smooth and gritty textures, which resemble milk and sugar. Seersucker is a lightweight, breathable fabric that's woven with threads at different tensions, causing some threads to bunch together and give the fabric a puckered appearance."

Plait Of Your Life

What will you chose to worship

The stereotypical plait of the world

Money
Sex
Power

Will you let your experiences reveal
your personal
holy trifecta

Or will you chose with your brain
then live
with your heart

Wanderful Life

 By frantic wander
I will see
all the fears
and all the wonders

My life will be a quilt
of colorful chaos
my body that is my home
will wrap it around itself
and live

Cauldron Cover

 I search every earthly market
for haunted ware

It's an essential form
in my formlessness

A dark bow
of cobwebs and skelton keys
holding together
my Halloween life

What I Do

 I don't do gorgeous

I do nervous

And if I had a craft
it would be origami stomach butterflies
golden brain bumps
and a yellow brick tongue

For pity's sake
tell gorgeous
I'm mute

Time Blows

 Time has a passion
and it is your destruction

The moment you feel
the music of time
it has planted a shard in you
that burrows and cuts
leaving its trail of wrinkles

Time spends itself on you
until that moment when
it can quite literally
blow you away

Plan

 Bless me
for I aim to misbehave

I'm working
to shift reality
and interface
with limitless exploration

Plan to be
beneath the lightning

I do so hope
you are comfortable
with sin

Smut

 I feel the throb
barely recognizable at first

Soon it distracts me
pulling me
to submit

I peel the clothes away
either every turn of the page

Though I am engorged
I can not stop
feeding the throb
as I submit
cover to cover

Eye On The Ore

Dig deep and find
your psychological foundation

The metal in your marrow

The brain in your bedrock

What if you mine
a depressed ass
down in the darkness of you

No get up and go
just a broken tail

Not a vivacious voice
but a slow bass bray

What if you find
all you are
is blue

Junk Food Insanity

 Tasted so good
going down

Now there it sits
taking up more space
than it deserves

Feeling it trying to jump up and out
but only air with a memory escapes

Old enough to know better
hopeful enough to think
maybe not this time

How many repetitions
before it's madness
and will the food coma come in time
to shut it down

Ideomotor Response Pen

 At this point
I'll listen to any voice
that sings a story
I can inhale
transmute and transform
into something me
I can glide and smear
removing the lonely emptiness
between the lines

Hemingway Was Right

 It is often easier
to pick up a knife
and open a vein
then to pick up a pen
and bleed

The ink is the life

Exsanguinate on the page

Empty Echo

 After over half a century
how can I be so empty
that a blank page
inspires only an echo
out of me

Walking To New York

 It's the spotlight
at the end of months of a tunnel

No up
no down
no peripheral
no sideshows
no exits

Just true north
to rows in darkness
a moment full of heartbeats
and the echo the journey
to find a seat
to present a ticket
and hear the opening notes
to the rest of your life

Day 10 of 31 OctPoWriMo2024

Walking The Broad Way

 An apple a day
keeps the show babies away
and stops them from stealing
the lollipop lights

The legacy robe's silk
holds the songs
of decades and strangers
wrapping around
then slipping away

Hiding inside a costume of light
the brighter the spot
the less you are seen
telling the truth
as you speak another's fiction

The Right Side Of Random

Lady Luck is a lying slut

Positive thinking is what failures do when they try again

There is no lucky penny to be held
Lincoln was shot in the head

There is no work
and success is just ending up
on the right side of random

Day 8 of 31 OctPoWriMo2024

Haunting

 Deep in back
down below it all
surrounded by cement
and stories already told
is where the best part stays
caught in the webs and dust
haunting
unheard
unremembered
unknown
just an echo in the floor boards
the soft creak of doors
and the fading music
of a song never written

Chaotic Commitment

 Exchange matching furniture
for vacations unparalleled

Exchange a backyard
for days finding hidden treasures

Exchanging owning a house
for creating a home wherever you stand

Exchange calm weather
for storms that feed your soul

Exchange some tranquility
for a little bit of chaos

Transparent Fire

 Back when she could feel
and was less afraid
there was
tongue to tongue
skin to skin
and novels of desire
written in sweat
on welcoming sheets

Now long past the age of consent
when there's no reputation to damage
no chance of accidents
she's transparent

If the world notices her at all
it's not as fire
but as dust
and they hope for a wind
to blow her away

Mr Stranger Danger

 He's not quite safe
but doesn't make you afraid

He'll take the sexy part of fear
and make you shiver with desire

He'll blindfold you
then show you sensations

He'll put you on a pedestal
without expecting you to be perfect

He's definitely not average
yet never make you feel inadequate

He's ruthless in his passions
with no apologies

He's not savage in fulfilling his needs
second only to fulfilling yours

He's forever
with the feel
of an animal
in the unknown

Day 4 of 31 OctPoWriMo2024

Falling Into Romance Novels

 Rode into the words
on a cycle of blood
powered by the moon

Not my usual literary fare
but my eyes
and my hormones
could not stop ingesting
the primal stereotypes
engaging in an erector set
of positions and passions
as boundless
and as endless
as the impossible stamina
rolling across the pages

Insatiable
I read on and on
covers to covers
infinites of published orgasms
held in the bindings
of electric spines
waiting to be bent

Day 3 of 31 OctPoWriMo2024

Hang The Light

I could see the world from your lap
and
I could see the universe when you held me up in your arms

You placed the stars in the sky
and my eyes
while solar flares
shot from your mouth

You hung the moon
when it was full
then waited until you
were a quarter present
before hanging me
and going dark

The world and the universe snuffed out

Day 2 of 31 OctPoWriMo2024

Anhedonia

 Once this made me shiver
and that made me have difficulty breathing
the joy was palpable
the laughter deep and loud

Once that made me shake
and this made my breath quicken
the urge for justice
and the motivation to make change

Once legs and arms wrapping and colliding
whether soft and slippery
for hard and fast
brought an ecstasy
that made lips tremble

Now nothing singes the flesh
builds the blood
ignites the air in my lungs

If I could
I'd beg the world

Give me something to bleed about
