Smooth as milk
yet lumpy as sugar
Your texture changes with the weather
and you're woven at different tensions
Yet no matter how wrinkled
you are always light weight
Around you the air is breathable
I feel you'll never pull my frayed ends
and destroy me in unraveling
You're like a favorite seersucker suit
I want to wear
until forever ends

Googled seersucker suit ~ "The name of a seersucker suit comes from the Persian phrase "shir-o-shakher" which means "milk and sugar". The name refers to the fabric's alternating smooth and gritty textures, which resemble milk and sugar. Seersucker is a lightweight, breathable fabric that's woven with threads at different tensions, causing some threads to bunch together and give the fabric a puckered appearance."
