I could see the world from your lap
and
I could see the universe when you held me up in your arms
You placed the stars in the sky
and my eyes
while solar flares
shot from your mouth
You hung the moon
when it was full
then waited until you
were a quarter present
before hanging me
and going dark
The world and the universe snuffed out
